Case for Geeks-on-Call

From my real life experience

Once upon a time…I was a witness to a crimeWhere did it happen? Let me see…It took place in Washington DC

In the office of The Special Counsel to the PresidentAnd here I am a little hesitant…To reveal everything that I knowThese details were not meant for a public show

A cover up had been taking placeAnd now it is the High Court caseI used to be working for Geeks On CallFixing computer problems for all

One day, I was given a simple jobTo erase information from a govy’s laptopI had all the tools and I cut to the chaseThe DoD-compliant seven-pass erase

I performed. All was hunky-doryI didn’t suspect there is more to that story…A few months later, when shit hit the fansMy boss has fired me for no offence

Was it a coincidence? I can’t really sayInvestigators came knocking the very next day.So, the saga continued for three more yearsSince the government really really cares

To punish the people for errors they’ve doneFor screw ups, faults and some little funBut for the cover up, the lies and suchIt punishes people twice as much

What is the moral of this story? When you are responsible for the inventoryKeep all the records, cover your assAnd all will end well for the working class.
